1996年南京大学医学院毕业获医学硕士学位，其后入南京鼓楼医院工作， 2010年破格晋升主任医师，2023年获聘为二级岗。兼任南京大学医学院教授、博士生导师、南京大学风湿免疫研究所副所长，以系统性红斑狼疮等自身免疫性疾病为主要研究对象，先后主持国家自然科学基金面上项目5项及国家重点研发计划政府间专项1项，发表SCI论文100 余篇，h-index 41，入选江苏省“十二五”、“十三五”医学重点人才。
